Interaction between Food and Abact
Taking Abact with food can create severe side effects. Discuss this with your doctor.
Interaction between Alcohol and Abact
Taking Abact with alcohol can have severely harmful effects on your health.
Abact and doxylamine can be taken together, as there are no reported harmful interactions between them. However, it doesn't mean that no interactions exist between them. Please take if prescribed by a doctor.
Abact should be taken with a meal. Drink plenty of fluids while you are taking this medicine. Drinking extra water will help prevent some unwanted effects of this medicine. Do not take this medicine along with milk, yogurt, or other dairy products may reduce the absorption of a drug. Take it exactly as directed by the physician.
Abact used to treat several bacterial infections, like urinary tract infection (UTI), pneumonia, bone, and joint infection, endocarditis, gastroenteritis, otitis externa, prostatitis, anthrax, and bacterial infection of the eye. It is not effective for treating any viral infections such as cold, and flu.
Yes, you can take Abact for pseudomonas infection. It is active against them. However, sometimes the bacteria acquires resistance against Abact. Please consult your doctor before taking Abact for the above-mentioned infection.
