Canzol (Monichem) should be applied topically (on the skin) once daily for 2 - 6 weeks or as advised by a doctor. It should be applied after cleaning the affected area, allow it to dry, and then gently rub the medicine on the affected area. Do not forget to wash your hands after applying this drug. Over-the-counter ketoconazole shampoo is usually used every 3 to 4 days for up to 8 weeks after that use it as per the need.

Canzol (Monichem) is a brand name of ketoconazole. It is a prescription drug that belongs to the class of medication called antifungal agents. It is used to treat fungal infections such as tinea corporis (fungal infection of the skin or scalp known as ringworm), tinea cruris (fungal infection in the skin of the genitals known as Jock itch), tinea pedis (fungal infection between the toes also known as athlete's foot), cutaneous candidiasis (skin and nail fungal infection), tinea versicolor (discolored patches of skin), and vaginal candidiasis (a yeast infection of the vagina). Over the counter ketoconazole shampoo control flaking, scaling, and itching of the scalp caused by dandruff.
