How does Colsprin work?

Colsprin primarily relieves pain because it is an analgesic. It also reduces inflammations (swellings) arising due to injuries and infections in the body. Apart from being an analgesic, it works by preventing strokes and other heart-related disorders by, the blood and reducing thromboxane (a chemical) responsible for making the platelets sticky. Hence by this action, it prevents blood clots which further prevents strokes and heart blockages.

Yes, you can take Colsprin for headache. The exact mechanism is not known. However, some researchers suggest that Colsprin blocks the action of chemical messenger ( bradykinin) which is responsible for headache.
