Depotex Information

Depotex is a commercial drug that is prescribed in the form of Injection, Tablet. Ulcerative Colitis, Rheumatoid Arthritis are some of its major therapeutic uses. Other than this, Depotex has some other therapeutic uses, which have been discussed ahead.

Medical history of the patient along with age and gender determines the dosage of Depotex. The condition it has been prescribed for, and the route of administration also determine the right dosage. For detailed information on this, read through the dosage section.

Depotex also has some side effects, the most common being Agitation, Anxiety, Blurred vision. Apart from the aforementioned side effects, Depotex can also lead to other problems, which have been listed below. Does Depotex cause weight gain?

Yes, Depotex may cause weight gain. It causes weight gain by altering the body's electrolyte, water balance, and its metabolism. Weight gain also depends on the dose and duration of medicine. If you are taking the higher dose for the longer time duration, more likely you are to encounter weight gain. Short courses of a few days to a couple of weeks don’t usually cause weight gain.
