Econex Information

Econex is a prescription medicine that is available as a Tablet. Primarily, it is used for the treatment of Tuberculosis.

Medical history of the patient along with age and gender determines the dosage of Econex. Individual symptoms and route of administration also determines the right dosage. Refer to the dosage section for a detailed discussion.

The side effects typically associated with Econex include Numbness or tingling, Neuropathy, Visual Disturbance. Besides the aforementioned side effects, there are other adverse effects of Econex as well, which are listed below. Such side effects of Econex normally do not last long and go away once the treatment is completed. If, however, they worsen or do not go away, please speak with your physician.

It is also important to note that Econex has a Moderate effect for pregnant women and Safe effect on lactating mothers. In addition, Econex's effects on the liver, heart and kidney are discussed below in the Econex related warnings section.

Econex is not recommended if you suffer from certain medical conditions as it can have adverse effects. Peripheral Neuropathy, Liver Disease, Jaundice are examples of such conditions. The section on Econex contraindications lists all such conditions.
