Ocugate Information

Ocugate is a prescription medicine that is available as a Drops, Ointment. Primarily, it is used for the treatment of Conjunctivitis. Other than this, Ocugate has some other therapeutic uses, which have been discussed ahead.

The correct dosage of Ocugate depends on the patient's age, gender, and medical history. Dosage also depends on the route of administration and your chief complaint for which the drug is prescribed. For detailed information on this, read through the dosage section.

Ocugate also has some side effects, the most common being Nausea or vomiting, Diarrhoea, Dizziness. Some other side effects of Ocugate have been listed ahead. Such side effects of Ocugate normally do not last long and go away once the treatment is completed. Consult your doctor if these side effects become worse or stay for a longer duration.

In addition, Ocugate's effect is Moderate during pregnancy and Severe for lactating mothers. In addition, Ocugate's effects on the liver, heart and kidney are discussed below in the Ocugate related warnings section.

Ocugate is not recommended if you suffer from certain medical conditions as it can have adverse effects. Myasthenia Gravis (MG), Brain and Nervous System, Tendon Injury (Tendinopathy) are examples of such conditions. Other conditions have been mentioned below in the Ocugate contraindications section.
