Rimoquin Information

Rimoquin is a commercial drug that is prescribed in the form of Tablet, Injection. It is typically used for the treatment of Malaria.

Medical history of the patient along with age and gender determines the dosage of Rimoquin. Dosage also depends on the route of administration and your chief complaint for which the drug is prescribed. Refer to the dosage section for a detailed discussion.

Besides the aforementioned side effects, there are other adverse effects of Rimoquin as well, which are listed below. These side effects of Rimoquin are usually temporary and subside with the completion of treatment. If, however, they worsen or do not go away, please speak with your physician.

How to take Rimoquin?

Oral tablet and suspension of Rimoquin should be taken by mouth 1 - 2 times in a day or as advised by your doctor. Ideally, Rimoquin has to be taken with food to avoid stomach upset. Precautions must be taken in patients with heart diseases.
