Btc Information

Btc is a prescription drug, available for use as Tablet. It is typically used for the treatment of Ear Infection, Tonsillitis, Pneumonia. Btc also has some secondary and off-label uses. These are listed below.

No harmful interactions are found between Btc and alcohol, it does not reduce the effectiveness of the drug. However, alcohol can cause liver damage and dehydration in some people which may increase the severity of side effects, if taken together. So, it is better to avoid taking alcohol with Btc.

Yes, you can take Btc for a sore throat, if it is caused by bacteria. It's very difficult to distinguish between a sore throat caused due to a viral or bacterial infection. Hence take it only when a doctor has prescribed it to you.

Can Btc treat gonorrhea and chlamydia?

Yes, Btc can treat gonorrhea and chlamydia. For the mild infection, a single dose is given whereas in case of severe infection treatment should be given for at least one week, and response should be closely monitored by a doctor. However, you must consult your doctor before taking any antibiotic for treating gonorrhea and chlamydia.
