Yes, Cefzim can treat uncomplicated urinary tract infections which is an infection of the urinary system caused by bacteria Escherichia coli or Klebsiella pneumoniae. It works by preventing the cell wall synthesis in bacteria by binding to specific proteins (penicillin-binding proteins).
