Yes, Fort.Proc.Pen Injection covers Enterococcus faecalis bacteria but to increase the efficacy of Fort.Proc.Pen Injection against this bacteria aminoglycosides antibiotics are given along with this drug. However antibiotic sensitivity test is recommended to confirm the susceptibility of this bacteria to Fort.Proc.Pen Injection.

The dose of Fort.Proc.Pen Injection may vary depending on the type of bacteria and severity of the infection. Oral Fort.Proc.Pen Injection should be taken empty stomach because the presence of acid and food can affect its absorption from the stomach or take it as advised by your doctor. Precautions must be taken in patients with asthma, seizure disorder, and improper kidney function.

Yes, Fort.Proc.Pen Injection can treat pneumonia caused by bacteria (Streptococcus pneumoniae). Fort.Proc.Pen Injection works in pneumonia by preventing the synthesis of the bacterial cell wall by binding to specific proteins (penicillin-binding proteins). In the absence of the cell wall, the bacteria becomes vulnerable and dies. It also kills the bacteria during the stage of their active multiplication.
