Hibor

Hibor is a prescription drug, available for use as Injection. Primarily, it is used for the treatment of Deep Vein Thrombosis. Secondary and off-label uses of Hibor have also been mentioned below.

The right dosage of Hibor depends on the age, gender, and medical history of the patient. Besides the medical condition it is advised for, the route of administration also plays an important role in determining the correct drug dosage. Detailed information has been provided in the dosage section.

While these are the most often observed Hibor side effects, there are can be others also. These have been listed below. Such side effects of Hibor normally do not last long and go away once the treatment is completed. Consult your doctor if these side effects become worse or stay for a longer duration.

Hibor's effect during pregnancy is Safe and Unknown while nursing. In addition, Hibor's effects on the liver, heart and kidney are discussed below in the Hibor related warnings section.

Hibor can cause adverse effects in certain medical conditions. It is strongly recommended to avoid Hibor in conditions like Endocarditis, Endocardial Fibroelastosis (EFE). The section on Hibor contraindications lists all such conditions.
