Kefmed Information

Kefmed is a commercial drug that is prescribed in the form of Tablet, Syrup. Urinary Tract Infection, Bronchitis are some of its major therapeutic uses. The alternative uses of Kefmed have also been explained below.

Does Kefmed help in preventing cold?

Kefmed does not help in preventing cold, because common cold is a viral infection. However, the drug can help in bringing relief from symptoms of cold, if it is associated with a bacterial infection. Can I discontinue Kefmed on my own without doctors advice?

You are recommended to complete the 7 - 14 days course even after getting symptomatic relief.
