Rivaplast is a prescription drug, available for use as Patch. Primarily, it is used for the treatment of Alzheimer's Disease, Parkinson's Disease. Secondary and off-label uses of Rivaplast have also been mentioned below.
Medical history of the patient along with age and gender determines the dosage of Rivaplast. The condition it has been prescribed for, and the route of administration also determine the right dosage. This information has been provided in detail in the dosage section.
The side effects typically associated with Rivaplast include Fainting, Indigestion. Besides the aforementioned side effects, there are other adverse effects of Rivaplast as well, which are listed below. These side effects of Rivaplast are usually temporary and subside with the completion of treatment. However, if these continue for a longer time, consult your doctor right away.
Rivaplast's effect during pregnancy is Safe and Mild while nursing. In addition, Rivaplast's effects on the liver, heart and kidney are discussed below in the Rivaplast related warnings section.
Rivaplast can cause adverse effects in certain medical conditions. It is strongly recommended to avoid Rivaplast in conditions like Kidney Disease, Asthma, COPD (Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease). Other contraindications of Rivaplast have been discussed in the sections ahead.
