He has been practicing medicine for over 19 years. Currently, Dr. Muffazal Lakdawala is working with Cleveland, USA. Some of the places where Dr. Muffazal Lakdawala has worked in the past include Dr Piet Pattyn, Prof. Seon Hahn Kim, Seoul, Korea. In addition to his affiliation with multiple hospitals, he has been professionally active in many other ways. He has been an active member of various organisations, including International Federation for the Surgery of Obesity and Metabolic Disorders (IFSO), Obesity Surgery Society of India (OSSI). Dr. Muffazal Lakdawala is the recipient of Rotary International Award for Young Achiever, 'Humanitarian of the year' Awarded by the All India Human Rights Association' 2007, Ranbaxy award for best thesis in MS exam,. He completed his MBBS from Grant Medical Foundation. He also has a MS from General Surgery - Topiwala National Medical College, Mumbai and MS - General Surgery from Topiwala National Medical College, Mumbai.
