Ideally Arsulide S is not prescribed by a doctor for a toothache. However, in the absence of painkillers such as ibuprofen, acetaminophen, naproxen etc, nimesulide can be taken to get instant relief from tooth pain. Generally, for treating toothache arising due to dental cavities and dental procedures ibuprofen along with antibiotics are recommended by dentists to reduce swelling and pain.
Arsulide S is a painkiller, not an antibiotic drug. It is used to treat the short-lasting painful inflammatory conditions such as sports injuries, sinusitis, and other ear-nose-throat disorders, dental surgery, bursitis (Inflammation of the fluid-filled sac in the joints), lower backache, dysmenorrhoea (painful menstruation), post-operative pain, osteoarthritis, and fever.

Arsulide S should be taken orally twice in a day after a meal.
Arsulide S should not be taken when a person has been detected with dengue. This is because nimesulide may cause internal bleeding which can be fatal during dengue. To bring down fever in dengue patients, paracetamol can be given along with plenty of fluids such as soups, juices, and water. Along with taking precautionary measures mentioned above, seek medical advice right away in case of Dengue as negligence and low platelet counts may lead to fatal consequences. You are highly recommended to follow the doctor's instructions.
