Dub (Unicure) contains medroxyprogesterone which is a synthetic form of the naturally occurring female sex hormone (progesterone) that works by restoring the normal levels of this hormone in the body which helps in regulating the normal menstrual cycle. Incase of contraception, it works by preventing ovulation (a process by which egg matures and released by the ovaries). In this way Dub (Unicure) acts as a contraceptive and helps in menorrhagia as well as secondary amenorrhoea.
