This is the usual dosage recommended in most common treatment cases. Please remember that every patient and their case is different, so the dosage can be different based on the disease, route of administration, patient's age and medical history.

Geriatric
  • Disease: Iron Deficiency Anemia
  • Before or After Meal: As advised by a physician
  • Single Maximum Dose: 750 mg
  • Dosage Route: Parenteral
  • Frequency: 1 Weekly
  • Course Duration: 8 days
  • Special Instructions: Patients weighing 50 kg or more, given via slow IV push or infusion separated by at least 7 days
Adult
  • Disease: Iron Deficiency Anemia
  • Before or After Meal: As advised by a physician
  • Single Maximum Dose: 15 mg/kg
  • Dosage Route: Parenteral
  • Frequency: 1 Weekly
  • Course Duration: 8 days
  • Special Instructions: Patients weighing less than 50 kg, given via slow IV push or infusion separated by at least 7 days
