Interaction between Alcohol and Ibilul Cream
No research has been done on this till date. Therefore, it is not known what the effect of taking Ibilul Cream with alcohol will be.
Yes, rarely Ibilul can cause skin irritation or burning sensation. It is a known side effect of this drug. However, if you experience excessive irritation of skin after applying this drug, then discuss with your doctor and follow his/her instructions.
Ideally, Ibilul is used for 1 - 2 weeks till the fungal infection is completely eradicated. You are advised to use it as per your doctor's instructions. Do not discontinue the drug suddenly or use it longer than prescribed by your doctor.
Ibilul should be applied 1 - 2 times a day or as advised by your doctor. Ibilul should be applied after cleaning the infected area, allow it to dry, and then gently rub the medication till it does not appear. Do not forget to wash your hands after applying this drug.
Ibilul contains luliconazole which is an antifungal agent that works by preventing the synthesis of ergosterol (a component of the cell membrane of fungi) through inhibition of an enzyme known as lanosterol demethylase. In the absence of ergosterol fungal cell wall is damaged that results in an increase in permeability of fungal cell wall this causes leakage of nutrients which kills the fungi. Ibilul is effective against fungi such as Trichophyton rubrum and Epidermophyton floccosum.
Yes, Ibilul can cure ringworm. It is used for the treatment of ringworm which is a fungal infection of the skin caused by fungi such as Trichophyton rubrum and Epidermophyton floccosum.
