Interaction between Food and Monoquin
Due to a lack of research, nothing can be said about the consequences of taking Monoquin together with food.
Interaction between Alcohol and Monoquin
It is difficult to say anything about the effect of Monoquin and alcohol. No research has been done on this yet.
Oral tablet and suspension of Monoquin should be taken by mouth 1 - 2 times in a day or as advised by your doctor. Ideally, Monoquin has to be taken with food to avoid stomach upset. Precautions must be taken in patients with heart diseases.
Yes, Monoquin causes a headache but it occurs in a few cases only. It is a rare side effect of this drug. If you experience a severe headache after taking this drug, take a mild painkiller, apply balms and take rest. Even after that if the pain does not subside then discuss it with your doctor.
Yes, Monoquin has been reported to cause tinnitus (ringing in the ears) and also hearing loss which is reversible and goes away after discontinuation of this drug.
