Rarely Pezo causes stomach cancer. There has been no direct relationship to establish the fact. However, stomach cancer and other cancers may develop because of recurring acid reflux for a long time for example 7 - 8 years or more. If you feel any symptoms associated with cancer such as consistent low-grade fever, weight loss due to unexplained reasons, and pain in the abdomen. Do not hesitate to get it diagnosed by a physician.
Yes, Pezo can be taken with an antibiotic. Taking Pezo with a certain antibiotic can treat H.Pylori associated stomach infection. However, it is best to consult your doctor before taking these two medicines together.
Rarely Pezo causes dementia. However, if you experience dementia after taking this medicine then inform to doctor right away and follow his/her instructions.
Pezo works by blocking the action of proton pump inhibitor which is responsible for acid production in the stomach. By blocking the production of acid in the stomach it helps to relieve from acidity, heartburn, GERD, stomach ulcer and other acidity related stomach problems.
Pezo should be taken 30 - 60 minute before meal. Preferably it should be taken once a day in the morning before breakfast. However, some people may require to take it twice in a day, in this case, 1 tablet should be taken in the morning and 1 tablet in the evening before meal. Please consult your doctor regarding the exact dosage regime of medicine and follow his/her instruction.
