Interaction between Food and Prevog

Interaction between Alcohol and Prevog
It is difficult to say anything about the effect of Prevog and alcohol. No research has been done on this yet.
Prevog contain voglibose. It works by inhibiting the enzyme (alpha-glucosidase) that reduces the rate of digestion of complex carbohydrates. Less glucose is absorbed because the carbohydrates are not broken down into glucose molecules. Hence in this way, Prevog reduces blood sugar levels.
Prevog should be taken as long as needed or take it as directed by doctor. Do not discontinue the drug suddenly or take it longer than prescribed by your doctor.
