Q Mal is a prescription medicine that is available as a Tablet. Primarily, it is used for the treatment of Malaria, Cerebral Malaria. Other than this, Q Mal has some other therapeutic uses, which have been discussed ahead.
Medical history of the patient along with age and gender determines the dosage of Q Mal. Individual symptoms and route of administration also determines the right dosage. Detailed information has been provided in the dosage section.
While these are the most often observed Q Mal side effects, there are can be others also. These have been listed below. Q Mal's effect during pregnancy is Severe and Mild while nursing. In addition, Q Mal's effects on the liver, heart and kidney are discussed below in the Q Mal related warnings section.
Q Mal is contraindicated in people with pre-existing medical conditions like Myasthenia Gravis (MG), Bradycardia (Slow Heart Rate), Drug Allergy as it can result in adverse effects. Other conditions have been mentioned below in the Q Mal contraindications section.

Interaction between Food and Q Mal
There isn't any research available on the side effects of taking Q Mal with food.
Interaction between Alcohol and Q Mal
Taking [medicine] and alcohol at the same time may lead to mild side effects. Contact your doctor right away if you observe any side effects.
Rarely, Q Mal causes a headache. It is a known side effect of this drug. If you experience a severe headache after taking this drug, take a mild painkiller, apply balms and complete rest. Even if the pain does not subside then discuss it with your doctor.
No, Q Mal does not cause weight loss. Weight loss has not been associated with this drug. However, if you are experiencing unusual weight loss and you are in doubt that Q Mal is causing weight loss then discuss with your doctor instantly.
Yes, Q Mal has been reported to cause diarrhoea and it is a common side effect of this medicine. Drink plenty of fluids while you are taking this medicine. If you are experiencing severe diarrhoea after taking this drug, consult your doctor immediately without any further delay.
Oral tablet and suspension of Q Mal should be taken by mouth 1 - 2 times in a day or as advised by your doctor. Ideally, Q Mal has to be taken with the food to avoid stomach upset. Precautions must be taken in patients with heart diseases.
Rarely, Q Mal causes microangiopathic hemolytic anemia as well as thrombocytopenia (low platelet count). It is a known side effect of this drug. If you are experiencing tiredness or shortness of breath or bleeding then discuss it with your doctor without further delay.
