Votas contain voglibose. It works by inhibiting the enzyme (alpha-glucosidase) that reduces the rate of digestion of complex carbohydrates. Less glucose is absorbed because the carbohydrates are not broken down into glucose molecules. Hence in this way, Votas reduces blood sugar levels.

Does Votas cause sweating?

Yes, Votas can cause night sweat, the exact mechanism of sweating is not known.
