Osetron Information

Osetron, a prescription drug, is manufactured in various forms such as Tablet, Injection. It is typically used for the treatment of Nausea and Vomiting.

The correct dosage of Osetron depends on the patient's age, gender, and medical history. Dosage also depends on the route of administration and your chief complaint for which the drug is prescribed. For detailed information on this, read through the dosage section.

Can Osetron be taken with pantoprazole?

Yes, Osetron can be taken with pantoprazole as there are no records of any drug interaction. Pantoprazole is a proton pump inhibitor which is used for treating acidity. Acidity can be managed by avoiding eating acidic and spicy foods, avoiding smoking, and avoiding sleep within 3 hours of taking meals.

Does Osetron cause constipation?

How to take Osetron?

Osetron is available in form of tablet, syrup, and injection. It should be taken as per your doctor's instructions. Ideally, Osetron has to be taken with food to avoid stomach upset. The initial dose is usually taken half an hour before chemotherapy, 1 to 2 hours before radiation therapy and 1 hour before a surgery. Additional doses can be suggested by the doctor as per the individual requirements.
