Natricarb Information

Natricarb is a commercial drug that is prescribed in the form of Injection. It is primarily used for the treatment of Nausea and Vomiting.

Medical history of the patient along with age and gender determines the dosage of Natricarb. Besides the medical condition it is advised for, the route of administration also plays an important role in determining the correct drug dosage. Detailed information has been provided in the dosage section.

While these are the most often observed Natricarb side effects, there are can be others also. These have been listed below. Such side effects of Natricarb normally do not last long and go away once the treatment is completed. If, however, they worsen or do not go away, please speak with your physician.

Furthermore, you should know that effect of Natricarb is Safe for pregnant women and Mild for women who are breastfeeding. Yes, headache is one of the common side effects of Natricarb. Apply balms and take a mild painkiller if a headache is of throbbing nature. Is Natricarb safe for children?

Yes, Natricarb is safe to be used in children from 6 months to 12 years of age. Apart from preventing nausea and vomiting related to chemotherapy and radiation, Natricarb can be used in this population group for managing acute gastritis. Acute gastritis presents itself as a self-limited infection with vomiting leading to dehydration and electrolyte imbalances. Always check with a child specialist and do not administer this drug yourself.
