Glucoact is a prescription medicine that is available as a Tablet. Primarily, it is used for the treatment of Diabetes Type 2. Glucoact also has some secondary and off-label uses. These are listed below.
The optimal dosage of Glucoact is largely dependent on the individual's body weight, medical history, gender and age. Besides the medical condition it is advised for, the route of administration also plays an important role in determining the correct drug dosage. The side effects typically associated with Glucoact include Constipation, Abdominal Pain, Indigestion. While these are the most often observed Glucoact side effects, there are can be others also. These have been listed below. Such side effects of Glucoact normally do not last long and go away once the treatment is completed. If, however, they worsen or do not go away, please speak with your physician.
Furthermore, you should know that effect of Glucoact is Severe for pregnant women and Severe for women who are breastfeeding. In addition, Glucoact's effects on the liver, heart and kidney are discussed below in the Glucoact related warnings section.
Glucoact is not recommended if you suffer from certain medical conditions as it can have adverse effects. Kidney Disease, Liver Disease, Diabetic Ketoacidosis are examples of such conditions. Other contraindications of Glucoact have been discussed in the sections ahead.
