How to take Hemsyl?

Take Hemsyl 2 - 3 times a day or as instructed by your doctor. It should be taken with food to avoid gastrointestinal complication. Your doctor will decide the dose and length of treatment, depending on the severity and progression of the disease. Precaution must be taken if you are suffering from bronchial asthma, proven hypersensitivity to sulphites, and acute porphyria.

Hemsyl contains ethamsylate. It is presumed that Hemsyl works by increasing the endothelial resistance and promoting the platelet adhesion. It also prevents the biosynthesis of that prostaglandin which is responsible for platelet disaggregation, vasodilation, and capillary permeability. hence in this way, it prevents the excess loss of blood and works in the bleeding disorder.
