    Lasix is a commercial drug that is prescribed in the form of Injection, Tablet. It is primarily used for the treatment of Edema, High BP, Swelling. Other than this, Lasix has some other therapeutic uses, which have been discussed ahead.

    Yes, Lasix can raise the blood sugar levels slightly in diabetic patients. However, the exact cause behind this is unknown but it is presumed that Lasix decreases the sensitivity of insulin towards glucose which causes rise in blood sugar levels.
