Refid D Information

Can Refid D be given to a patient with asthma?

No, Refid D is not suitable for a patient with asthma. Refid D is suitable for treating cough originating from cold and flu. It is not suitable for treating cough due to smoking or asthma. Asthma is generally treated with two type of medication which are long-term control and quick-relief medicine. For long-term control, medicine helps reduce airway inflammation and prevent asthma symptoms where quick-relief medicine helps sudden relief from asthmatic symptoms.
