Yes, Omniclav can treat the sinus infection. However, a combination of Omniclav and clavulanic acid is given as the first-line drug for the treatment of sinus infection. Please consult your doctor for the right line of treatment for sinus infection.
No, Omniclav does not cause sleepiness. However, if you feel or experience sleepiness or drowsiness after taking this medicine, please inform your doctor and follow his/her instructions.
Omniclav is a brand name for amoxicillin. It is a prescription drug that belongs to the class of medications called penicillin antibiotic. It is used in the treatment of the number of bacterial infections such as tonsillitis, pneumonia, bronchitis, gonorrhea, and infection of ear, nose, throat, skin, urinary tract. It is also used in combination with other antibiotic medications such as clarithromycin to treat stomach ulcer caused by Helicobacter pylori bacteria.
