Varozap Information

Varozap, a prescription drug, is manufactured in various forms such as Tablet. It is primarily used for the treatment of Schizophrenia. Varozap also has some secondary and off-label uses. These are listed below.

The optimal dosage of Varozap is largely dependent on the individual's body weight, medical history, gender and age. Dosage also depends on the route of administration and your chief complaint for which the drug is prescribed. Refer to the dosage section for a detailed discussion.

Varozap also has some side effects, the most common being Blurred vision. While these are the most often observed Varozap side effects, there are can be others also. These have been listed below. Normally, these side effects of Varozap are not long lasting and go away when the treatment is finished. If, however, they worsen or do not go away, please speak with your physician.

Varozap's effect during pregnancy is Mild and Severe while nursing. It is important to know if Varozap has any effect on the kidney, liver and heart. Information on such adverse effects, if any, has been given in the Varozap related warnings section.

Varozap Dosage & How to Take

This is the usual dosage recommended in most common treatment cases. Please remember that every patient and their case is different, so the dosage can be different based on the disease, route of administration, patient's age and medical history.

  • Special Instructions: gradually increase 25 - 50 mg/day over a period of 2 week up to target dose of 300 - 450 mg/day
