Ximinox contains minoxidil which is a vasodilator and it works by causing dilation of blood vessels which reduces the blood pressure. For hair loss, it is presumed that Ximinox works by directly stimulating the resting hair follicles and increasing blood flow in the skin of the applied area which promotes hair follicles growth.
Yes, Ximinox can be used with oil. Oil must be applied after 2-4 hours of the application of Ximinox so that it can be absorbed by the skin. If you apply oil soon after applying Ximinox then it might affect the absorption of this drug from the site of application.
Yes, Ximinox may be used for frontal hair loss but it gives much better results if the drug is used on the upper head or crown.
Yes, Ximinox may cause temporary hair loss for up to 2 weeks initially after starting of the treatment in few cases only. This is due to hair shifting from the resting phase to the growth phase. Consider this as a sign that your old hairs are falling so that new hairs can regrow in their place. If the hair loss continues for more than 2 weeks then you are advised to discuss it with your doctor.
