Uridip contains allopurinol that belongs to the class of drugs known as xanthine oxidase inhibitors. It works by inhibiting the xanthine oxidase enzyme (Responsible for uric acid production in our body) that lead to disruption in the biosynthesis of uric acid due to which its abnormally high levels are decreased in the body.
