Angitol Information

Angitol is a prescription medicine that is available as a Tablet. It is primarily used for the treatment of Angina, High BP. Other than this, Angitol has some other therapeutic uses, which have been discussed ahead.

Does Angitol cause hair loss?

Angitol contains atenolol which is presumed to work through multiple mechanisms. It reduces blood pressure and slows down the fast heartbeat by blocking the influx of calcium ions and binding to certain receptors (beta-adrenoceptors) in the smooth muscles of heart which prevent the effects of adrenaline and noradrenaline that also contributes in decreasing myocardial (heart) oxygen demand.
