Megadol Tablet Information

Megadol Tablet is a prescription drug, available for use as Tablet. Megadol Tablet also has some secondary and off-label uses. These are listed below.

Medical history of the patient along with age and gender determines the dosage of Megadol Tablet. Dosage also depends on the route of administration and your chief complaint for which the drug is prescribed. Refer to the dosage section for a detailed discussion.

The most common side effects of Megadol Tablet are Nausea or vomiting, Diarrhoea, Constipation. Apart from the aforementioned side effects, Megadol Tablet can also lead to other problems, which have been listed below. How to take Megadol?

Megadol is available in the form of a tablet, chewable tablet, suspension and drops, and syrup. Prescription Megadol is taken every 4 to 6 hours for arthritis and pain. Adults and children older than 12 years may take non-prescription Megadol every 4 to 6 hours. Children and infants may be given Megadol every 6 to 8 hours. It is important to take Megadol with food or milk so as to prevent stomach upset. If you are taking Megadol every day, remember to take it at the same time. Megadol is also available in combination with other drugs for treating cold and cough. If you have prescribed a combination containing Megadol, do not take any non-prescription drug containing Megadol as it might cause overdosage. Shake the drops and suspensions well before use.
