Brokam Information

Brokam is a commercial drug that is prescribed in the form of Syrup. Secondary and off-label uses of Brokam have also been mentioned below.

Medical history of the patient along with age and gender determines the dosage of Brokam. The condition it has been prescribed for, and the route of administration also determine the right dosage. This information has been provided in detail in the dosage section.

Brokam also has some side effects, the most common being Skin Rash, Epigastric Pain, Bronchospasm. While these are the most often observed Brokam side effects, there are can be others also.   • Single Maximum Dose: 10 ml

  • Special Instructions: strength 1.25 mg Terbutaline, 4 mg bromhexine and 50 mg guaifenesin in 5 ml
2 - 12 years (Child)
  • Disease: Asthma
  • Before or After Meal: Either
  • Single Maximum Dose: 5 ml
  • Dosage Route: Oral
  • Frequency: 4 hourly
  • Course Duration: As directed by the doctor
  • Special Instructions: strength 1.25 mg Terbutaline, 4 mg bromhexine and 50 mg guaifenesin in 5 ml, below 6 years old can take 2.5 ml
