    Cetadom is a prescription medicine that is available as a Tablet. Cetadom also has some secondary and off-label uses. These are listed below.

    Medical history of the patient along with age and gender determines the dosage of Cetadom. Besides the medical condition it is advised for, the route of administration also plays an important role in determining the correct drug dosage.     Common side effects of Cetadom include Dry Mouth. Besides the aforementioned side effects, there are other adverse effects of Cetadom as well, which are listed below. Normally, these side effects of Cetadom are not long lasting and go away when the treatment is finished. If, however, they worsen or do not go away, please speak with your physician.

    • Is the use of Cetadom safe for pregnant women?


      Cetadom may cause moderate side effects during pregnancy. If you feel its harmful effects, then stop taking this drug immediately, and do not take Cetadom again without your doctor's advice.

    • Is the use of Cetadom safe during breastfeeding?


      Cetadom can cause moderate side effects on breastfeeding women. If you feel its side effects, then stop taking this drug and consult your doctor. Take this medicine again only if your doctor advises to do so.

    • What is the effect of Cetadom on the Kidneys?


      There can be some harmful effects on your kidneys after taking Cetadom. If you witness any side effects, discontinue its use. Consult your medical practitioner, do as he/she suggests.

    • What is the effect of Cetadom on the Liver?


      There may be an adverse effect on the liver after taking Cetadom. If you observe any side effects on your body then stop taking this drug. Take this medicine again only if your doctor advises you to do so.

    What is the treatment for Cetadom poisoning?

    As we know Cetadom is most widely used 'over-the-counter' analgesic/antipyretic medicine. However, paracetamol overdose can cause serious adverse effects on the liver, it may be fatal. But fortunately, there is an antidote, N-acetylcysteine (NAC) given within 8 hours of Cetadom ingestion which usually can prevent all serious side effects of Cetadom poisoning. However, do not take NAC without consulting a doctor as your doctor will tell you the right way and methods to help you relieve from this drug poisoning.
