Having worked with several hospitals, he has 34 years of relevant experience. Dr. Ambrish Mithal is now working with Medanta -The Medicity. Apart from his association with different hospitals, he has put his skills to the test in many other ways. He is a member of Ex-President of Endocrine Society of India, Chairperson of Bone and Joint Decade. Dr. Ambrish Mithal has been feted with the Springer Citation Prize for his paper on ‘Global Vitamin D Status', 2012, IOF Amgen Health Professionals Award, 2005. Dr. Ambrish Mithal is an alum of GSVMMC, Kanpur where he earned a M.B.B.S.. Post that Dr. Ambrish Mithal went on to take his MBBS from L.P.S Institute of Cardiology, G.S.V.M Medical College, Kanpur and M.D. (General Medicine) from GSVMMC, Kanpur.
