Having worked with several hospitals, he has 38 years of relevant experience. He practices medicine at DR R S Gandhi Clinic. Beyond his affiliation with many hospitals, he has been professionally active in many other ways. He has been an active member of various organisations, including Indian Medical Association (IMA), General Practitioners Association Greater Bombay. He graduated with a MBBS from A J Institute of Medical Sciences & Research Centre, Mangalore. He also has a MS from Lalit Narayan Mithila University, Darbhanga.
