He has over 15 years of experience practising medicine in various hospitals and clinics. He practices medicine at Fortis. Apart from his association with different hospitals, he has put his skills to the test in many other ways. He has been an active member of MMC, AIOS (All India Ophthalmological Society) - Life Member U11307. Gold Medal - GT Mazumdar Prize, Gold Medal in Eye and ENT - LH Hiranandani Prize are among the awards that Dr. Mahesh Uparkar has won. He graduated with a MBBS from Seth G S Medical College Mumbai. Post that Dr. Mahesh Uparkar went on to take his MS - Ophthalmology from K E M Hospital and MS from Ophthalmology - K E M Hospital.
