Adricin

Adricin, containing Epirubicin as the active ingredient, is an anthracycline chemotherapy drug. It is widely used in the treatment of various types of cancers. Epirubicin works by interfering with the DNA of cancer cells, thereby preventing their growth and multiplication.

Uses:

1. Breast cancer.
2. Gastric (stomach) cancer.
3. Bladder cancer.
4. Lung cancer.
5. Ovarian cancer.

Epirubicin binds to the DNA of cancer cells, preventing the replication of genetic material. It also inhibits the enzyme topoisomerase II, causing DNA strand breaks and leading to cell death.

• Breast cancer: 100–120 mg/m² in divided doses.
• Other cancers: Dose varies depending on cancer type and patient’s condition.

Administered via intravenous (IV) infusion under the supervision of a healthcare professional.
