No, Clobet alone should not be used for ringworm because it is a fungal infection of the skin caused by fungi such as Trichophyton rubrum and Epidermophyton floccosum and Clobet is not an antifungal agent and it is not effective against fungi. Hence Clobet should not be used for the treatment of ringworm. For the treatment of ringworm, you can use a combination of Clobet and antifungal drugs such as miconazole and fluconazole.

Does Clobet lighten skin?

Yes, Clobet might lighten skin because it causes skin atrophy (skin thinning) which reduces the darkness of the skin. However, Clobet is not approved for skin lightening and should not be used for this purpose because it can cause unpleasant side effects.

How to apply Clobet?

Clobet should be applied 1 - 2 times a day or as advised by your doctor. Clobet should be applied after cleaning the infected area, allow it to dry, and then gently rub the medication till it disappears. Do not forget to wash your hands after applying this drug.

Can Clobet be used for jock itch?

No, Clobet alone should not be used for jock itch also known as tinea cruris because it is a fungal infection and Clobet is not an antifungal agent and it is not effective against fungi. Hence Clobet should not be used for the treatment of jock itch. For the treatment of jock itch, you can use a combination of Clobet and antifungal drugs such as miconazole and fluconazole.
