Coglan Information

Coglan is a commercial drug that is prescribed in the form of Tablet. Other than this, Coglan has some other therapeutic uses, which have been discussed ahead.

Coglan is the brand name for tranexamic acid. It belongs to class drugs known as antifibrinolytics. It is available in the form of injection and tablets. It is used to prevent or reduce hemorrhage in patients struggling with hemophilia, to lessen the need for a replacement therapy during and after a tooth extraction procedure, and for managing excessive bleeding during surgery, trauma and menstruation.
