Yes, Torsemek Plus reduces blood pressure. It works by increasing the rate of urine formation by inhibiting the sodium and potassium reabsorption from the kidney, this leads to decrease in blood volume and blood pressure which provides relief from high blood pressure to the patient.
Ideally, the tablet has to be taken once or twice daily. It can be taken anytime but you are advised to take it in the morning because it causes more frequent urination which can disturb your sleep in the night. It can be taken with or without food but it is better to take it with food to avoid stomach upset.
Do not take Torsemek Plus with ibuprofen until and unless prescribed by your doctor. However, if you are receiving this combination, drink plenty of water and also monitored blood pressure and kidney functions as well.
Torsemek Plus is used to provide relief from swelling and high blood pressure.
