Yes, Unitrac is safe to use, if taken in prescribed quantity for the prescribed duration. However, there are few side effects which have been observed at a therapeutic dose level such as drowsiness, dizziness, blurred vision, depression, hallucination, shortness of breath, seizure, confusion, memory loss, unusual changes in behavior, and problems with coordination or balance.
Unitrac can be taken with or without food. Preferably taken 2 - 4 times in a day. Extended-release tablet should be taken once daily. The dose should be gradually increased from low to high. It may cause dizziness and drowsiness which altered the thinking power of people. You shouldn't drive or operate heavy machinery while taking medicine. Unitrac is a brand name for alprazolam. It is a controlled prescription drug that belongs to the class of medications called benzodiazepine.
