How does Vestable work?

Vestable contains cinnarizine. It exerts its anti-emetic effect by binding to and blocking the muscarinic and histamine receptors in the vomiting center of the central nervous system (CNS). This blocks the activation of the chemoreceptor trigger zone (CTZ) which prevents as well as reduces nausea and vomiting. It also has calcium channel blocking properties.
