Beetal is a prescription drug, available for use as Tablet. It is primarily used for the treatment of Epilepsy. Secondary and off-label uses of Beetal have also been mentioned below.
The optimal dosage of Beetal is largely dependent on the individual's body weight, medical history, gender and age. The side effects typically associated with Beetal include Vertigo. While these are the most often observed Beetal side effects, there are can be others also. These have been listed below. Usually, these side effects of Beetal go away soon, and do not persist beyond the duration of the treatment. Please speak with your doctor if these side effects worsen or persist for a longer duration.
Beetal's effect during pregnancy is Moderate and Severe while nursing. In addition, Beetal's effects on the liver, heart and kidney are discussed below in the Beetal related warnings section.
Beetal can cause adverse effects in certain medical conditions. It is strongly recommended to avoid Beetal in conditions like Bradycardia (Slow Heart Rate), Respiratory Depression, Liver Disease. The section on Beetal contraindications lists all such conditions.
