Acuvin Information

Acuvin is a commercial drug that is prescribed in the form of Tablet. Other than this, Acuvin has some other therapeutic uses, which have been discussed ahead.

Can Acuvin be used for toothache?

Yes, Acuvin can be used to provide relief from a toothache (dental pain) because it contains tramadol which is a pain-killer. It is only used if other pain-killer medications such as NSAIDs (nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs) cannot be given due to some complications. Since it is a prescription drug and also a habit-forming drug you are advised, not to take it by yourself.

Yes, Acuvin cause low blood pressure (hypotension) in a few cases only. It is a rare side effect of this drug. However, the exact cause of low blood pressure is unknown.
