The drug should be avoided if you have had a history heart attack or cardiac ailments. You must inform your doctor if someone in your family had a heart attack or a stroke, if you smoke, or if you have ever had high blood pressure, high cholesterol, and diabetes. Call for the emergency help right away if you experience slurred speech, shortness of breath, chest pain or weakness in one side of the body.

      How to take Volflam D?

      Volflam D is available in the form of a tablet, chewable tablet, suspension and drops, and syrup. Prescription Volflam D is taken every 4 to 6 hours for arthritis and pain. Adults and children older than 12 years may take non-prescription Volflam D every 4 to 6 hours. Children and infants may be given Volflam D every 6 to 8 hours. It is important to take Volflam D with food or milk so as to prevent stomach upset. If you are taking Volflam D every day, remember to take it at the same time. Volflam D is also available in combination with other drugs for treating cold and cough. If you have prescribed a combination containing Volflam D, do not take any non-prescription drug containing Volflam D as it might cause overdosage. Shake the drops and suspensions well before use.
