Chlorocol H is effective against a wide range of both gram negative and gram positive bacteria such as Salmonella species, Rickettsia species, Neisseria meningitidis, Escherichia coli, Haemophilus influenzae, and Staphylococcus pneumoniae.
Yes, Chlorocol H can treat gonorrhea which is a sexually transmitted infection caused by bacteria Neisseria gonorrhoeae. Usually, other antibiotics are preferred to treat gonorrhea due to decreased side effects and greater efficacy along with faster recovery.
